What does this product guarantee mean?

Unless otherwise stated we offer a one-year guarantee on all our products. You can extend this warranty free of charge for an additional year, making a total of two years. However, you must register the product within 28 days of purchase. If you register your product it is guaranteed for two years in total from the date of purchase. To register for your free additional year go to www.jaleno.com and click on the “warranty registration” from the top menu. Note: Jaleno Europe Limited is the authorised UK service agent for all products sold by Advanced Homewares. Each product you purchase needs to be registered with us individually. This guarantee is offered as an additional benefit and does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer

How do I register my product?

You need to register your product within 28 days of purchase. Simply visit the www.jaleno.com website and follow the simple registration instructions. We recommend that you keep the instruction book and proof of purchase in a safe place. The instruction book is particularly useful to help you get the most from your product. If you misplace an instruction book for any of our products, please email us at customerservice@advancedhomewares.co.uk  and we will be happy to send you a new one.

Has my product been registered?

Once you have registered your product with Jaleno Europe Limited you will receive an email confirming your registration. Please check your junk mailbox if you do not receive this email. 

How do I claim on my guarantee?

To make a claim, you will need to retain your proof of purchase as you will be asked for this along with the model and the serial number of your product, which can usually be found on the manufacturer's sticker located on the machine (not the box). Subject to the appliance being used in accordance with the instructions and faulty, the unit will be repaired or replaced at our discretion. If your item is replaced within the guarantee period, the guarantee on the replacement unit continues from the original date of purchase and not from the date it was replaced. Our guarantee does not confer any rights other than those expressly set out above and does not cover any claims for consequential loss or damage.

This guarantee is offered as an additional benefit and does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer. 

Are there any exclusions?

Yes, there are some exclusions to your guarantee. This guarantee does not cover normal wear and tear and Advanced Homewares shall not be liable to repair or replace any items under the terms of this guarantee if:

  • Damage has been caused by or is attributable to overloading, transit damage, negligence, accidental or improper use underlined in the instruction manual.
  • Repairs or modifications have been made or attempted by persons other than our authorised service staff.
  • The appliance is second hand
  • The appliance has been used for commercial or other non-domestic use.
  • Certain appliances will have other notable exclusions listed in their respective instruction booklets, that will outline any exclusions not mentioned here that will affect this guarantee and service.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION:

DUE TO OUR CONTINUED DEVELOPMENT OF PRODUCTS, WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO ALTER PRODUCT SPECIFICATIONS AT ANY TIME.

IT IS VITALLY IMPORTANT THAT YOU KEEP YOUR ORIGINAL PURCHASE RECEIPT IN A SAFE PLACE AS THIS WILL BE REQUIRED TO HAVE YOUR PRODUCT REPAIRED FREE OF CHARGE UNDER THE WARRANTY PERIOD. WITHOUT THIS PROOF OF PURCHASE ANY REPAIRS WILL BE CHARGEABLE.
